DOYLESTOWN – Bertha M. Jarrett-Jones, age 81, passed away on April 28, 2017.

Born on August 8, 1935 in Cabin Creek, WV to the late Leonard and Mary (Perdue) Atkins, she was a resident of Doylestown for 50 years.  Bertha had been a Trustee with Chippewa Township for 20 years, and loved to paint, especially portraits and landscapes.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” W. Jones; brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Atkins; brother in-law, Denny Hudnall.  Bertha is survived by her daughters, Valerie Jarrett (fiancé, Dave Meadows) of Wooster and Tina (Darrell) Canter of Clinton; grandchildren, Raef (Shanna) Canter, Jenna (David) Helmuth, Rhiannon Canter; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Hudnall of East Bank, WV; special friend and companion, Glen Adkins.
