DOYLESTOWN – Bruce Wayne Davis, age 60, was called home to be with the good Lord on March 16, 2017.
Born on May 8, 1956 in Barberton, and he was a life resident of Doylestown.  Wayne retired from Local #18 Operating Engineers after many years of service.  He was a proud union worker, lifetime NRA member, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  Nothing gave him more delight than spending time and being the best PaPaw he could be to his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carole; son, Josh 'Buddha'; father, Dennis; sister, Darlene Ledbetter. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Jason Casto of Urbana, OH; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Tristan, Joshua; mother, Amanda Davis of Doylestown; brother, C. Douglas of Doylestown, A. Dwight Davis of Wooster; many extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the National Rifle Association.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
