WADSWORTH – Cheryl L. Septer, age 77, passed away on March 17, 2017 at the Sanctuary of Wadsworth.  Born on September 1, 1939 in Massillon to the late Gilbert and Arline (Books) Septer, she was a resident of Wadsworth since 1989, previously of the Dalton / Massillon area.  Cheryl retired in 1996 from LTV Steel (formerly Republic Steel).  She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, traveling,  flying to lunches, and spending time with her longtime friend Joel.

She is survived by her brother, Dave (Marie) Septer of Dalton; nieces, Jenni Huff of Dalton, April (Tom) Mattox of Massillon, Beth Septer of Medina; nephew, David (Heather) Septer of Wadsworth; longtime friend, Joel Kull of Wadsworth; eight great nephews; four great nieces, and a great-great niece.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with inurnment to take place at Dalton Cemetery.  Memorials on Cheryl’s behalf may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
