Heartfelt condolences to Anna, Todd and extended families on the loss of your father, Don Houglan. Knew Don for 62 yrs., and it was quite evident he cherished his many good friends and was dedicated to the betterment of the Rittman community. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Don.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who loved and cared for Don. I recall my years in Rittman and working where we dealt with Don's family. How much he reminded me of his own Father. Such vibrant people when called Home leave a void none could ever replace. God Bless and in His Love,

Todd,
Please email me regarding your dad's passing. I remember you coming to Dayton for medical school. Was the obituary in any of the local papers? The Wadsworth-Copley family members don't seem to know about Don's passing.

Don was a good, and kind neighbor of many years, and shared our love of nature and wildlife. He is sadly missed , and has left a legacy of having been an integral part of the community and also was a well-respected person. We offer our heartfelt condolences to Don's entire family, and will think of him every time we look out over the woods, and hear the birds sing. With best regards, Jim and Amy Fletcher, Jim and Valerie Davis, and Jay and Rhonda Landis

We send our sympathy to all of Don's family. He was most definitely committed to leaving the Earth better for his having been there. Another of Rittman's finest is gone, but his legacy will live on. May our God comfort you during this difficult time. --Wayne and Donna Ambrose

We grew up in Rittman, Ohio, Don being just a bit older, but in Rittman, (the old Rittman) everybody and all families knew and favored all the Rittmanites. Don has lived a good life, a good man and erecting a bird feeder certainly would please him. I knew Don as an adult serving on a few of the same committees, and Hospital endeavors. I send my condolences to all remaining family members. I know Don will be missed. May you find your strength and peace through savoring great memories and allowing the Lord to intervene for you. Blessings.
