Donna E. Venables

DALTON – Donna E. Venables, age 87, passed away on February 27, 2018.

Born in Massillon, OH to the late Artie F. and Gladys Q. (Merriman) McGovern, she was a life resident of Dalton.  A devoted mother dedicated to the raising of her four children, she had worked at the College of Wooster.  Donna was a member of the Dalton Presbyterian Church and the Dalton Community Historical Society.

Preceded in death by her husband, Myron in 1979; sons, Michael R., and Jeffery R., she is survived by her son, Don L. of Dalton; daughter, Jean Ann (Ken) Kramerman of Palm City, FL; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert McGovern of Massillon; sister, Norma Neglic of Dalton, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH, 44618 with Pastor Sally Fusek, officiating.  Burial will be at Dalton Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dalton Presbyterian Church, P.O.
