MARSHALLVILLE – Jason A. Weiss, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2017. 

Born on December 8, 1976 in Akron, he was a resident of the Doylestown/Marshallville area for 4 years, previously of Brimfield, OH. Employed with Bertolini Trucking, he was a master of many trades and loved working on his home.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard & Phyllis Dyer, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Joan; daughters, Kayla and Jenna; mother, Kim Weiss of Randolph Twp., OH; father, Lacy D. Weiss of Akron; mother in-law, Linda Snader of Doylestown; father in-law, Ralph Snader of Norton; uncles, Ed (Marlena) Dyer, David Dyer, Mark Dyer; other family and many friends.

A celebration of Jason’s life and family benefit will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Time Out Café, 24 W. Main St., Dalton, OH 44618 from 4:30 until 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230.
