DALTON – Kevin M. Phillips, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2017.

Born on June 26, 1956 in Orrville, he was lifelong resident of Dalton and 1974 graduate of Dalton High School.  Kevin had worked for Quality Castings and was previously with Weyerhaeuser, and Pyrofax Gas Corp. He enjoyed Auto Racing, especially NASCAR and Sprint Car.

Preceded in death by his mother, Helen Phillips; son Joshua M. Phillips; sister, Linda McCauley, he is survived by his father, Robert “Bob” Phillips; brother, Steven R. (Carol) Phillips all of Dalton; grandsons, Zander, and Zaiden; granddaughter Gatlynn; brother-in-law, Jerome McCauley of Orlando, FL; other family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville with Fr.
