Leanna H. Adkins

MASSILLON – Leanna H. Adkins, age 82, passed away on February 3, 2018.

Born on September 21, 1935 in Dalton, OH to the late Franklin and Carrie (Hazel) Case, she was a resident of Massillon since 1957, previously of Dalton.  Leanna was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Massillon and also the Bible Club. She worked for many years at polling sites for the Stark County Board of Elections.

Preceded in death by her husband, Burley; sister, Janet Yost, she is survived by sons, Tim (Tracy) Adkins of Massillon, Kenneth Adkins of Brewster, OH; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, OH, 44618 with Pastor John Stallings, officiating.  Burial will be at Dalton Cemetery.  Calling hours will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
