W. Nancy Durant

NORTON - W. Nancy Durant, age 79, passed away on January 26, 2018.

Born on August 22, 1938 in White Hall, PA, she was a life resident of Norton.  Nancy was an Avon Representative for 40 years and a homemaker devoted to her family. She was a member of Woman of the Moose at Barberton Lodge #759 and loved to cross stitch, bowl, play Yahtzee and hosting yard sales. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians for many years.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Mays; mother, Wilma Smith; son, Daniel; grandson, Brian Durant; son in-law, Richard Fox.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ed; children, Vicki Fox of Rittman, Sandi (Jim) Hendrickson of Barberton, David (Mary Ann) Durant of Norton, Dianna Case (Mike Hermann) of Mogadore, Tami (John) Whittington of Indianapolis, IN, Missi Durant of Barberton; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Ann (Bill) Trimble of Jim Thorp, PA; step father, Wiff Smith of Burnham, PA; step brother, David (LaDonna) Smith of Lewistown, PA; step sister, Marilyn Gavitt of Eagles Mere, PA; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Pastor Jerry Clevenger, officiating.  Burial to take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarenfh.com
