DOYLESTOWN – Amanda K. Green, age 40, passed away on December 15, 2017 in Tempe, AZ after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 25, 1977 in Wooster, OH, she was a resident of Tempe, AZ for the last ten years, previously of Doylestown, and Smithville. A graduate of Smithville High School, Amanda obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Cleveland State University and then pursued her passion for teaching less fortunate adults and children in various assistance agencies.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Homer and Mary Green, George and Mary Smith, she is survived by her parents, Jack and Patricia Green; brother, Andy Green all of Doylestown; Aunts, other family and friends

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.  A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held graveside on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
