Charlotte Y. Posan

NORTON – Charlotte Y. Posan, age 85, passed away on May 2, 2019.

Born on May 29, 1933 in Barberton to the late Herbert and Ruth (Hackett) Wall, she was a life resident of Norton.  Charlotte retired from Louisiana Pacific and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Portage Lakes. She enjoyed watching old movies, I Love Lucy, playing cards, cooking, Saturday morning polkas, and entertaining her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, John J.; son, Brian; brothers, Leonard and Maynard Wall; mother in-law, Anna May, she is survived by her sons, John Posan III of Barberton, Larry Posan of Norton; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; daughter in-law, Dianna Staley of Wadsworth; sisters, Paulette (Clifford) Smith of Marietta, OH, Winifred (Richard) Stewart of FL; nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown 44230 with Pastor Jack Kozak officiating.  Burial to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
