Clyde P. Singer

MASSILLON – Clyde P. Singer, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2019.

Born on September 12, 1958 in Canton, OH to the late Elmer and Clara (Radel) Singer, he was a resident of the Massillon area since 1978.  Clyde was employed by Tam O’Shanter Golf Course until its closing with over 30 years of service.  Besides his love of golf, he also enjoyed woodworking and had attended Pleasant View Mennonite Church and Highway Chapel.

Preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Givens, he is survived by his sister, Pearl Schwartz of York, PA; nephews, Nate Schwartz, and Lawrence Givens; niece, Ann (Travis) Snyder; great nephews, Duke, and Jacob; great niece, Aria.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Cemetery, 14795 Wooster St. N.W., North Lawrence, OH, 44666 with Pastor Dan Hostetler, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
