Faye D. Durbin

DOYLESTOWN - Faye D. Durbin, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Born on August 16, 1934 in Doylestown to the late William E. and Doris (Poor) Whitehead, she was a life resident of Doylestown and attended Crossroads Community Church.  She worked alongside her husband, Jim at Durbin Floors for over forty years.  Dedicated to her family, Faye was an avid fan of all her grandchildren following them to all their sporting events.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Tina; brothers, Richard and William Whitehead; step brother, Fred Neiswander, she is survived by her husband of 64 years, James; children, Mike (Lynn) Durbin of Strasburg, Gary (Kelly) Durbin of Doylestown, Doug (Tina) Durbin of Doylestown, Pam (Jim) Goodwill of Holmesville, Penny (Fred) Langguth; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Ann Galehouse of Doylestown; step sister, Judy Hanna of Cleveland; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family wishes to thank Faye’s sister, Ann Galehouse and sister-in-law, Jerrie Whitehead for the loving care and support they gave to Faye in her final days.

A private graveside service with inurnment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery will be held by the family at a later date.  Memorials may be made on behalf of Faye to the Cleveland Clinic / Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse, Inpatient Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH, 44333.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarren.com
