DALTON – Gloria J. Amstutz, age 71, passed away on September 18, 2017.

Born on October 10, 1945 in Dalton to the late Lloyal M. and Viola J. (Stackhouse) Santmyer, she was a resident of Dalton, previously of Orrville, Massillon and Canton. A member of the Dalton United Methodist Church, Gloria enjoyed reading her Bible, knitting, and doing other crafts.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Eric) Keesee of Orrville; son, Matt (Sandy) Amstutz of Orrville; grandchildren, Jaime Amstutz (Adam Pfeifer), Courtney West, Lauren (Cory) Martell, Allyson and Nicholas Amstutz; great grandchildren, Carter West, Aiden Pfeifer, Maddox Martell; brother, Dan (Lois) Santmyer of Dalton; nephew, Justin Santmyer; great nephew,  Zachary Milford-Santmyer; special aunt, Donna Armentrout; other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Dalton Cemetery with the Rev. Abram Penrod, officiating.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
