DOYLESTOWN – Hazel V. Weaver, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017.

Born on August 2, 1932 in Summerville, PA to Paul and Ester Belle (Schaffer) Carrier, she was a resident of Doylestown since 1995, previously of Kenmore.  Hazel enjoyed crocheting, collecting teddy bears, metal detecting, antiquing, and traveling across the country in their Scotty Trailer.

Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and a sister; special aunt and uncle, Lavinna and Ed Carrier; Hazel is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack; daughter, Jacque (Ron) Blue of Doylestown; son, Bob (Kathryn) Weaver of Wadsworth; three step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; sister in-law, Barb Carrier of Logan, OH.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker and Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating.  Burial to take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
