Helen M. Felix

RITTMAN – Helen M. Felix, age 96, passed away on July 18, 2019.

Born on May 30, 1923 in Doylestown, OH to the late David and Elva (Burger) Rohr, she was a life resident of the Rittman / Doylestown area and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Helen’s passion was spending time with her family.  She also loved to spend time gardening and canning fruits and vegetables that she had grown.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sons, Joseph (Sherry Jo), James E.; great granddaughter, Addison Felix; sisters, Thelma Csondor, Mildred (Donald) Busson, Viola (William) Busson; brothers, John (Amelia) Rohr, Clarence Rohr, she is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Bill) Burnett of IN; son, Jerry (Meredith) Felix of Wadsworth; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; daughter in-law, Gay Felix; sister, Esther Henry; brother, David (Wanda) Rohr; half sisters, Betty (Bob) Pond, Mary (Luther) Robinson; sister in-law, Dolores Rohr; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Robert Stein, Celebrant.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts.
