DOYLESTOWN – Jean I. Kaylor, age 89, passed away on February 4, 2018.
Born on July 15, 1928 in Ashland, OH to the late Fred and May (Smith) Stewart, she was a resident of Doylestown for over 50 years, previously of Wadsworth. Retiring from Ohio Match, she was a member of the Barberton Moose Lodge #759. Jean loved to spend time with her family, travel with her daughters and grandchildren, and playing Bingo.
Preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Susan Cartmel; son, Dan Kaylor; son-in-law, Robert Tester; brother, Leonard “Bud” Stewart; sisters, Eleanor Anderson, and Irene Morgan; step father, Wayne “Buster” Kaylor, she is survived by her daughters, Penny (Mark) Pavkov of Anaheim, CA, Sharon Tester, Debra (Dale) Tester all of Doylestown; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Deana (Wincel) McKeand of Rittman; nieces, nephews, and other family.
Funeral service will be on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
