Jean I. Kaylor

DOYLESTOWN – Jean I. Kaylor, age 89, passed away on February 4, 2018.

Born on July 15, 1928 in Ashland, OH to the late Fred and May (Smith) Stewart, she was a resident of Doylestown for over 50 years, previously of Wadsworth.  Retiring from Ohio Match, she was a member of the Barberton Moose Lodge #759.  Jean loved to spend time with her family, travel with her daughters and grandchildren, and playing Bingo.

Preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Susan Cartmel; son, Dan Kaylor; son-in-law, Robert Tester; brother, Leonard “Bud” Stewart; sisters, Eleanor Anderson, and Irene Morgan; step father, Wayne “Buster” Kaylor, she is survived by her daughters, Penny (Mark) Pavkov of Anaheim, CA, Sharon Tester, Debra (Dale) Tester all of Doylestown; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Deana (Wincel) McKeand of Rittman; nieces, nephews, and other family.

Funeral service will be on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating.  Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
