DOYLESTOWN – Johan C. “Rusty” Kallenborn, age 91, passed away on September 21, 2017.

Born on August 3, 1926 in Barberton, OH to the late Clarence and Catherine (Cherry) Johnston, she was a resident of Doylestown.  Johan had been an executive secretary for Babcock and Wilcox and an office manager for Recon for many years.  She was a member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 407 Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence  “C.J.” in 1990; brothers, Max and Bob Johnston; sister, Pat Fluck, she is survived by her daughter, Kris (Jeff) Brown of Doylestown; son, Kip (Celeste) Kallenborn of Land O Lakes, FL; grandchildren, Brittany (Brian) Landies, Brandon Brown (Corrine Ruffin), Connor and Cassidy Kallenborn; great grandchildren, Bella, Bristol, Blake, and Brook Landies, Harper Brown; sisters-in-law, Erma Kallenborn, Patty Craycraft, Dottie Johnston; brother-in-law, Bud Harpster; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Pastor Dale Warrick, officiating.  Inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until time of service.
