Our world again has lost a very good person. Joe and I had some good breakfast's together. We had farm tractors to talk about and things we like buying and selling.. We would talk about our families and how much they meant to us.
Like I said ,,Our world has lost a good person. I am a better person ,just knowing Joe..

I met Joe (Joey) in the first grade at Sts. Peter and Paul and we were classmates for the next twelve years. Joe and I both came from farming families and shared other common interests. He was especially kind to me when my husband died four years ago. I will always remember him as that good looking young boy with a quick smile! I am very sorry for the loss of his physical presence in your lives. I know he will always be with you in spirit and in the memories you share.

Char, Chris, Mary and family. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The last time we saw Joe was years ago when he was getting off his tractor after bailing hay on the farm on 261 and Barber Road. He was always friendly when we saw him and we both liked him. He will be missed by many people, but most of all by his family. God bless you all in this stressful time.

I am sorry for your loss. I saw him last week and before I walked out of the fitness center I got to give him a hug and I cracked a joke and got to hear his laugh and see his blue eyes. I will miss him very much.

To my second Family,
I am so saddened for each of you. I have so many memories with each and every one of you. Your dad always teased and made me laugh. I am smiling as I am writing this thinking of all the memories! Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. I love you!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just now received word. I'm currently out of state. Joe was always good to me. My fondest memory was when he took me to Senecaville Lake during muzzleloader season. One problem, I had no muzzleloader. Joe sold one of his Ruger pistols and purchased a muzzleloader just so I could go. We had a great time! Thank You Joe! May you have fair winds & following seas. •••Respectfully, Joe Hackett

Charlene, Tracy, Christa and Joey,

Very sorry to hear about your dad. I remember your dad as a hard worker...whether it was driving truck or tinkering on a motor of some sort in the driveway. Will remember the fun tractor rides when we were little and the infamous pool party at my house where he assisted in throwing all the neighborhood adults in the pool 😁. Good times!

Joe, was my neighbor for many years. I remember him mowing his grass in the dark with the headlights on. The children played together all the time. What fun we had. So sorry to hear about Joe's passing.

My condolences to all,
Kathy Hodgkinson ( from Allison Dr.)

I will always remember Joe with a smile on his face and a quick joke to make you laugh. He was always so nice to me, never making me feel like the "odd girl out" at Midwest. The world lost a great man .... but they said goodbye with fireworks and huge party -- could it have been any more appropriate for him? RIP Joe
