Welcome to the memorial page for

Joseph S. Chuhi Jr.

May 29, 1953 ~ July 4, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old

DOYLESTOWN – Joseph S. Chuhi Jr., age 64, went home to meet our risen Lord at His farm of the eternal golden hayfield.  He passed with his children at his bedside as the fireworks boomed on Independence Day, July 4, 2017.

He was known by many for enjoying a little table talk with a game of euchre, where he never failed to turn up the jack; he loved bailing hay and tinkering on his tractors.  Joe was a regular at many fine dining establishments and the fitness center, where he will be missed by his many friends.  Some may remember his mischief with John, his brother, usually not too far behind.  His unpredictable personality created an environment for family games of cowboy and Indians, paintball, hide-n-go-seek, water balloon fights, bingo, parties, hayrides and tractor rides. He had an impeccable work ethic and instilled that lesson into his children. He graduated from Chippewa High School in 1971.  He began working as a welder at Terex then worked as a proud truck driver at Midwest Rubber.  His career ended as a welder for the Boiler Makers in 2006 when he suffered a stroke.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Julia and dad, Joseph along with his beloved dogs.  He created four uniquely wonderful children with Mary, who survives; son, Joe; daughters, Christina (Mike), Tracy (Jeremiah), and Charlene (Chris); grandchildren, Christopher, Andrea, CJ, Justin, Catherine, Titus, Cannon, Michael, Cael, Saleh, Sophia, Berlin, Bristol, and Joseph; brother, John (Cheri), sisters, Barbara and Sandy (Doug); many nieces and nephews including Jim (Suzanne), Julie, Jennifer (Jeff), Stacey, Jason (Brittney), Madison and Mason; his dog, Chloe; many other family and friends.

The family would especially like to thank Jim, John, Susie, and Mary and Jessie Webb for helping our Dad.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton 44203 with Fr. James Maloney, Celebrant.  Friends may call from 9:30 until time of service at the church. The family would like to invite friends and loved ones to share stories and honor Joe with a picnic immediately following mass at the church pavilion. Private inurnment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please honor our Dad by taking time to create a forever memory with your family.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
