DOYLESTOWN – Kathleen J. Worcester, age 66, passed away on June 5, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 10, 1950 to the late Carl H. and Mary D. (Papp) Petit, she was a lifelong resident of Doylestown.  Kathleen received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron and was a substitute teacher for various school systems. A member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the church choir and Women of Grace, she was an avid card player, and a Cleveland Sports Fan.

Preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Jr., Larry; sister, Linda Petit; she is survived by her children, Christopher (Renee) Worcester of Barberton, Julie (Terry) Thompson of Wakeman, OH, Jeffrey (Kristin) Worcester of Medina, Brian Worcester of Charlotte, NC, Daniel Worcester and Emily Worcester of Doylestown; grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Aeden, Anna, Nathan, Alyssa, Noah, Andrew, Henry, Aidan, William; brother, John (Jamey) Petit; sister, Carolyn (Craig) Hollis; uncle, Alfred Petit; nieces, Jessica, Sara and Judy; nephew, Nicholas; many cousins, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH  44230, with Fr. Robert Stein, Celebrant.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.  Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N.
