WADSWORTH – Raymond E. Doolittle, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2019.
He was born on November 29, 1966 in Akron, OH to the late Robert E. and Ida K. (Hixenbaugh) Doolittle. A resident of Wadsworth, previously of Doylestown, Ray was employed by Snyder of Berlin. Ray was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, new adventures, and was a huge Cleveland sports “FANatic”. He also had a love for grilling, fishing and his newest love, kayaking. He had a knack for making people laugh. Everyone he crossed paths with loved him.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Doolittle, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tammy; children, Heather (Shaun) Knighton of Wadsworth, Elizabeth Doolittle, Raymond II (Bethany) Doolittle all of Doylestown; grandchildren, William, Lillian, Jaxson, Bartholomew; brothers, Paul (Stephanie) Doolittle, Robert Doolittle all of Akron; nephew, Paul II (Katie) Doolittle of Akron; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown.
