Robert A. Petit

DOYLESTOWN – Robert A. Petit, age 88, passed away on May 10, 2019. 

He was born on January 13, 1931 in Doylestown to Emmit J. and Florence C. (Hall) Petit. A life resident of Doylestown, he was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Bob retired from Louisiana Pacific in 1993 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; brothers, Emmit Jr., Edward, William, Glenn, Ralph and Don; sisters, Eileen Vegh and Rose Marie Funk.  Bob is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Stephen) Dannemiller of Doylestown, Stephanie (Phil) Adkins of Beaver, PA; sons, Rob K. (Cynthia) Petit of Medina, Daniel (Deanne) Petit of Doylestown; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; special caregiver, Elly Morris; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton Rd., Doylestown with Fr. Robert Stein, Celebrant.  Burial with military honors will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School,169 W.
