Robin J. Vallee (Damron)

BARBERTON – Robin Jane Vallee (nee, Damron), age 50, passed away on February 12, 2019 after a long fight with various medical issues.

Born on December 10, 1968 in Akron to Johnny and Jane (Rooks) Damron, she was a resident of Barberton.  A 1988 graduate of Kenmore High School, she enjoyed doing crafts, spending time and making memories with her family.

Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Verlon and Maxie Damron, and Eugene and Bonnie Rooks.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son Zachary Reese; sisters, Johnni Denise Edge, Patricia “Tish” (Bob) Carillon, Kimberly Sykes; nieces, Megan Jane (John) and Katelyn Jane (Ryan); nephews, David John (Andrea), Nicholas Robert, and Noah Robert.  She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews whom she adored, Mayah Denise, Kaydence Lee, John Cal and Carson Kameron; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including special Aunt, Mary Darlene Hitchings and special friend, Vanessa McVicker.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, 3819 Johnson Rd., Norton, OH 44203 with Pastor Cecil Farmer officiating.  Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Liberty Free Will Baptist Building Fund, 3819 Johnson Rd., Norton, OH 44203.
