Sandra Lee Collins

NORTON - Sandra Lee Collins, 71, went home to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2018.

Sandy was born in Barberton, Ohio on April 15th, 1947 to Walter and Wilma McCloskie.  Before retiring, Sandy worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Dept. at the University of Akron.  She retired in 1998, due to medical reasons, which allowed her to focus on assisting with the care of her grandchildren.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, card club and spending time with and caring for her mother.  She took great pride in being a loving, supportive wife, mother and grandmother. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Claude Collins; daughters, Sonja (David) Nagel, Kelli (Brian) Williams; sons, Scott Collins, Shawn (Tara) Collins; grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Kristen Williams, and Quinn Collins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Terry Collins officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
