DALTON – Sherry L. Massie, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2017.

Born on May 11, 1973 in Orrville, she was a life resident of Dalton.  A 1992 graduate of Dalton High School, she had been employed by Omni Casting Co. and previously with Shearers in Brewster.  Sherry enjoyed spending time and talking with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah Jean; father, Darrell Massie; she is survived by her daughters, Billie Jo Smith, Heather Gerber; grandson, Callum Reed; mother, Linda Massie; brother, Corey Massie all of Dalton; grandmother, Neva Massie of Orrville; 2 nieces, 1 nephew; other family and many friends.

A graveside service with inurnment will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Dalton Cemetery with Pastor Dan Hostetler, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sherry’s memory to the Lupus Foundation of America, 12930 Chippewa Rd., Suite 4, Brecksville, OH, 44141.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
