Sidney B. Ferguson Jr.

DOYLESTOWN – Sidney B. Ferguson Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2019.

Born on May 16, 1955 in Orrville to the late Sidney B. and Maxine (Ryneer) Ferguson, he was a life resident of Doylestown.  He retired with Herbert Machine Works with 10 years of service, and had also worked at King Machine for 32 years. He went on to become owner and operator of Blumoon Valley Alpacas. Sidney was a member of Sons of American Legion Doylestown Post #407, and loved to play euchre.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward and Tom C. Ferguson; brother in-law, Charlie Robertson; he is survived by his sons, Sidney B. III “Burt” (Alicia Walsh) of Doylestown and Brian of Marshallville; sisters, Patricia Robertson (Dennis Nush) of Valparaiso, IN, Cindy Sue (Paul) Harbaugh of Barberton; sisters in-law, Betty Ferguson of Sacramento, CA, Pam Ferguson of Golden Valley, AZ; special friends, Cassie, Anna, Karen, Jamie; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown.  Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH, 44691 or the American Cancer Society, P.O.
