DOYLESTOWN – Teresa J. “Teri” Magyar, age 48, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017.

Born on April 3, 1968 in Barberton, she was a life resident of Doylestown.   A 1986 graduate of Chippewa High School, she went on to obtain both her Bachelors and Masters degrees at the University of Akron.  Teri was employed by Rayco Manufacturing as a controller for 11 years and was a member of New Pointe Community Church in Wooster. Teri enjoyed the fine art of dance throughout her life and will be missed by her dance family.  She was a true and faithful friend who provided unwavering support, strength, wisdom, and love even during her hardest times.  Our hearts are broken and she will be truly missed.

Preceded in death by her father, Richard Farrell, she is survived by the love of her life and husband of 22 years, James; her children whom she cherished more than anything Alexandria, and Andrew both at home; mother, JoAnn Akers of Doylestown; brother, Patrick (Joan) Farrell of Navarre; sister, Linda Gunderson of Newark, OH; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Patricia Magyar of Doylestown; sister-in-law, Melissa; nieces, Alyssa, Andrea, Micki, Carrie; nephews, Justin, Jeremy, Jordan; other family and many special friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker and Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St, Doylestown, 44230.  Burial to take place a Chestnut Hill Cemetery.  Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in the name of Teresa Magyar to Secrest Arboretum at OSU/OARDC, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster, OH 44691.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
