Amanda I. Davis

DOYLESTOWN – Amanda I. Davis, age 92, passed away on September 14, 2024.

Born on October 13, 1931 in Bryson City, NC to the late Andrew and Sally (Styles) Cline, she had been a resident of Doylestown for 70 years. Amanda worked at Ideal Nursing Home as a certified nurse’s aide until its closing and had previously worked at Pleasant View Health Care. Amanda had been a member of Galbraith Baptist Church in North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Dena Darlene Ledbetter; sons, Andrew Dwight Davis and Bruce Wayne (Carole) Davis; grandson, Josh “Budda” Davis; brothers, Cbie Cline and Percival Cline; sisters, Edna Wiggins, Irene Bradley, Mary Pruitt, and Tela King. Amanda is survived by her son, C. Douglas Davis of Doylestown; granddaughters, Dawn (Jason) Casto and Julie Perry-Ledbetter; grandson, Tom Ledbetter; great-grandchildren, Brooke (Noah) Mason, Erik (Kayla) Perry, Cheyenne Casto, Tristan Casto, and Joshua Casto; 4 great-great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating.
