Ann "Joanne" Krska

DOYLESTOWN – Ann “Joanne” Krska, age 86, passed away on March 5, 2025.

Born on July 30, 1938 in Doylestown to the late William and Clara Whitman, she was a life resident and a 1956 graduate of Doylestown High School.  Joanne retired from Hopocan Gardens after 31 years of service as a waitress and had previously worked for Babcock and Wilcox.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she had volunteered for many church and school activities.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, William “Bill” Whitman and Harry Whitman; sister, Margaret Ray.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Adam E.; sons, Jeffrey (Mary) of New Franklin, Edward J. (Paula) of Hilton Head, SC; granddaughters, Jessica (Adam) Gibson, Stephanie (Tony) Yoder, Alexandria Krska; step granddaughter, Ashlee (Collin) Wyatt; 7 great grandchildren; brother, John (Pat) Whitman of Doylestown; sister, Deborah “Debbie” Spataro of Akron; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr.
