DOYLESTOWN – Arthur “Rob” B. Robinson, age 72, passed away on February 1, 2024.
Born in Anchorage, AK on August 18, 1951 to the late Arthur and Betty (Betke) Robinson, Rob had been a resident of Doylestown for 29 years, previously of Strongsville. He served in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for Mast Trucking. Rob was an Alaskan native and belonged to Native Corporations. He played Native American drums and attended many pow-wows. Rob loved camping and being in nature. He also enjoyed woodworking, bowling, and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Phelps and Michael Kothe. Rob is survived by his son Daniel (Theresa) Robinson of Rochester, NY; life partner, Cheryl Black of Doylestown; daughter, Heather (Eric) Erb of Valley City; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; step-father, James Kothe; brother, David MacIntosh; sisters, Donica Jerue (Greg), Jolene Moonwind, Marilyn Barksdale, Elva Scott, Audrey Scott, Elissa Scott, Sophie Minich; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Pastor Billy Kremer officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Traditions Health Hospice, 577 Grant St Suite B, Akron, OH 44311.
