Barbara Lou Snyder

MARSHALLVILLE -  Barbara L. Snyder, age 80, passed away on March 22, 2022.

She was born on June 17, 1941 in Cloquet, MN to the late Gordon Wendling and Velma (Davis) Benolken. Barbara was raised by her mother Velma and stepfather, Ambrose Benolken.  A resident of Marshallville for 60 years,  Barbara loved to do word puzzles, cook, and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Sr. in 2019; great grandchildren, Elijah and Hannah Merrill; sister, Audrey Winowiecki; sons in-law, William Crawn, and Robert Bennett.  She is survived by her children, Teri (David) Gadfield of Marshallville, Gail Bennett of Doylestown, Susan Crawn of Massillon, George Jr. (Julie) Snyder of Marshallville; grandchildren, Natasha (Dr. Joshua) Merrill, Eden Langston, Eric M. (Christopher Panek) Langston, Kendra Bennett, Amanda (Kevin) Sharrock, Nikita Snyder, Cheyenne (Shane) Argabrite, Dillon Perego; great grandchildren, Noah and Jacob Merrill, Sophia and Ciera Simmons, Cooper and Blair Sharrock, Aidyn and Dakota Snyder, Everett Argabrite, and two new great-grandchildren on the way; nieces, nephews; other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating. Inurnment to follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:30 until time of service.
