DOYLESTOWN – Bud E. Nash, age 77, passed away on August 31, 2023.
Born on July 25, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Oscar E. and Helen L. (McDonald) Nash, he had been a resident of Doylestown for 48 years. Bud retired from JL Steel as a stationary boiler engineer. He attended Clinton Church of the Nazarene and had a passion for collecting playing cards.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet, after 54 years of marriage at the time of her passing; son, Paul E. Nash; sister, Phyllis (Jim) Hartman; and brother, Oscar “Pat” Nash. Bud is survived by his children, Bonnie Hunt, Bud A. (Christy) Nash all of Doylestown; grandchildren, Treasure (Tristan) Ashcraft, Taylor Hunt, Tracy (Dustin) Buzzelli, Tyler (Kanzas) Hunt, Paul, Andie, and Tristan Nash; great grandchildren, Jakari, Winston, Myah, Kendall, and Olive; sister, Joyce Traster; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating. Burial to take place at Clinton Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
