DOYLESTOWN – Calvin G. Lyons, age 68, passed away on January 8, 2022 after a long and hard medical battle in his last days.
Born on July 1, 1953 in Clay County, WV to the late Fairl and Thelma (Douglas) Lyons, he was a resident of Doylestown for over 20 years. Calvin retired from CFE as an electrician and had previously been with B&C Machine in Barberton. A member of the Doylestown American Legion post 407 and the Rittman Moose Lodge 860, he was an all around Jack of all trades who loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and fish. Calvin was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, and racing in general.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Jimmy and Nicole Lyons; grandson, Jeremy Petit; son in-law, Jeremy Brede; brothers, Roger, Jerry, Wayne, Larry, Mike, and Glenn. He is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Christopher Spry, Crystal Brede (Aaron Longworth), Aubrey Lyons, Mandy (Jeff) Petit, Michelle (TJ) DeAngelis; grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Liam, Ryker, Hailee, Olivia, Owen, Milo, Joey, Juliana, Dominic, and Sonny; brothers, John and Bub Lyons; sisters, Sharon Maker, Karen Lyons, PaTricia Lyons, Kim (Ray) Romans, Norma (Shaun) Uber, and an abundance of extended family and friends.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held at this time with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
