DOYLESTOWN – Cameron G. Ware, age 91, passed away on November 21, 2025.
Born on September 12, 1934 in Mingo, WV to the late Guy and Mary (Snyder) Ware, he was a resident of Doylestown since 1971. Cameron retired from P.P.G. Co. in 1991 and was an active member of Johnson United Methodist Church where he participated in many church activities. He enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing, and golfing but especially liked going to breakfast with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne; brothers, Calvin, Jim, and Stanley Ware; sisters, Maxine White, Jean Petrus, Helen Simon, Ernestine Arbogast, he is survived by his sons, Rick (Catharine) Ware of Barberton, David Ware of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Walker, Zachary (Shana) Ware, Hannah Ware, Jennifer (Mitchell) Oldaker; great grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron, Jessica, Jonathan, Anona, James; brother, Paul Ware; sister, Pauline Brown; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at both the Sanctuary of Wadsworth and Traditions Hospice for their compassionate care of Cameron.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 28, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor David Scavuzzo, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron, OH. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
