Carol Jackson Obituary
AKRON – Carol S. Jackson, age 73, passed away on September 28, 2022.
Born on September 29, 1948 in Sacramento, CA to the late James and Pearl (Wright) Fugate, she was a lifelong resident of Akron. Carol retired from Dilly’s Drive-In after many years of service. She loved her Ohio State Buckeyes and San Francisco 49’ers and enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Jackson Sr.; son, James Jackson; brothers, Robert Beebe and Tommy Beebe. Carol is survived by her children, Ken (Tammy) Jackson of Akron, Frederick Jackson Jr. of Akron, Kim (Bill) Bennett of Kimbolton, OH; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Deborah (Ted) Ray of Mt. Vernon, OH; her beloved dog, Abby.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11 am at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating. Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
