Obituary

DOYLESTOWN - Carolyn Sue Baker, 84, of Doylestown went home to her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2023 after a battle of declining health.

Sue was a caring mother, wife, grandma, and friend. She worked very hard to provide a home for her family and she could never pass up a good yard sale. She loved gardening and was content to sit peacefully in her favorite chair with a cat by her side. She also enjoyed visiting her family in West Virginia as often as she could. Sue will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Baker; daughter, Elizabeth Baker; son, Kermit Lee Baker; and siblings, Tom, Dan, Pat, and Janet. Sue is survived by her son, Robert Baker (Michel); grandchildren, Rachel Wells (Tanner) and Jessica Kunkle (Taran); great-grandchildren, Mara-Jade, Kayden, Gabriel, Annaeliese, and Kolette.

The immediate family will have a small, private celebration of life at their home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the following in Sue’s name: Summa Hospice, Akron, Brookdale Assisted Living, Barberton or your local animal shelter.
