DOYLESTOWN – Charles W. Kutz, age 82, passed away after a short illness on March 8, 2026.
Born on August 13, 1943 in Columbus, OH to the late Ferdinand and Martha (Oursler) Kutz, he was a resident of Doylestown for three years, previously of North Lawrence since 1974. Charles graduated from Barberton High School in 1961 and went to obtain his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Akron in 1966. His career spanned many years and included employment at P.P.G. Co, Firestone Tire and Rubber, and finally at P.S.D. (Power Systems Development) from which he retired. Alongside his wife, Sandra they were “Winter Texans” for 12 years and members of the Swiss Wheelers Camping Club and FCRV (Family Campers and RV’s). He truly enjoyed the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Richard Kutz. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Sandra; son, William (Susan) Kutz of Bolivar; daughter, Wendy (David) Caskey of North Lawrence; grandchildren, Taelor (Brandon) Lockhart, Tara (Tyler) Hadorn, Charles “Chaz” (Brittney) O’Dell, Mitchell (Kirstyn) Caskey, Elizabeth (Dakota) Steele; great grandchildren, Casey, Bronsen, Eyla, Elliott, Cade, and one on the way; sister, Patricia (Jim) Housley of South Carolina; niece, Kelly (Nick) Selders; other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A graveside service with inurnment will be held at a later date in July at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown. Notification will be made via this website.
