Charles "Doug" D. Davis

Doylestown – Charles “Doug” D. Davis passed away on November 19, 2024.

Born on September 16, 1964 in Orrville to the late Dennis D. and Amanda I. (Cline) Davis, Doug was a life resident of Doylestown and a 1982 graduate of Chippewa High School. He worked as a refueler at Akron Canton Airport and for Subsurface Construction on underground gas lines. He had also been a caregiver for his nephew, Josh “Buddha” Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew Dwight Davis and Bruce Wayne (Carole) Davis; sister, Dena Darlene Ledbetter; and nephew, Josh “Buddha” Davis. Doug is survived by his nieces, Dawn (Jason) Casto and Julie Perry-Ledbetter; nephew, Tom Ledbetter; other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Rod Grabski, officiating.
