DOYLESTOWN - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dale Tester, who left this world on June 9, 2025. Dale was a husband to Debra Tester, a loving father to Casey and Bree, and a proud grandfather to his three beautiful granddaughters—Leina, Adrienne, and Norah. His family was his greatest treasure, and he found immense joy in watching his three great-nephews, whom he considered grandsons, play football. Their military careers filled him with pride, reflecting the same dedication and resilience he carried throughout his own life.
Born to Roy and Doris Tester, Dale was preceded in death by his beloved siblings Lucille, Carolyn, and Robert. He is survived by his cherished siblings Carl and Juanita, who carry forward the family bond he held so dear.
Dale’s love for motorcycles was undeniable - he built and worked on Harley Davidsons with passion and a true enthusiast’s spirit. But beyond his love for motorcycles, Dale was one of the hardest workers to ever walk this planet. His integrity, grit, and selflessness set him apart. There was no limit to how far he would go to help someone, friend or stranger—because that’s how his heart worked. His family holds close the words he so often said: "It will feel better when it quits hurting." Today, those words carry a heavy meaning, but offer strength in a time of sorrow.
There are no services scheduled at this time. In honor of Dale’s lifelong values, his family asks that donations be made to the Doylestown Community Food Cupboard, 153 Church St., Doylestown, OH, 44230, to help feed those in need, a principle he carried with him from his upbringing on the Tester family farm.
