Massillon - Daniel passed over peacefully surrounded by family at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital early on the morning of November 21, 2022 from a long fight of COPD and CHF, along with many other illnesses.
Proceeded in death by his parents, George and Alice Hatten; sisters, MaryAnn, Lucy Mae and Georgia Fay Hatten; brother, Paul Phipph Hatten; nieces, Lisa Ann, Judy Marie, and Jeanie Marie Bealer; many other loved ones.
Surviving family members are his 4 children, Matthew, Joshua, Daniel Jr., and Tamekia; sister Susan (Allen) Bealer; brother, George A. (Patty) Hatten; nieces, Paula (Tom) Drake, Julie Bealer, Jamie Bealer; great nieces, nephews, and lots of extended family and friends.
Daniel loved each and every one of us. He tried to see the good in everyone but would call anyone out on their bull. He was the secret keeper, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, etc. He loved to fish, hunt, hike, go camping and boating. A huge supporter to many of his loved one’s endowments. Most of all he was loved by each and every one of us. He will be deeply missed by so many! Until we meet again, rest in peace uncle Dink!
