David Mumford Obituary

NORTH LAWRENCE – David J. Mumford, age 71, passed away after a short illness on August 27, 2021.

Born on March 1, 1950 in Peterborough, England to the late Thomas and Audrey (Foster) Mumford, he was a resident of North Lawrence for 9 months. Previous to that, he and his wife, Janice had lived in Kansas since 2010, the Dalton area, and Toronto, Canada. Dave’s last employment was with Rayco in Wooster but had spent many years with Brouwer Turf Equipment in Canada, and then with Steiner-Brouwer in Dalton.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Kerry-Anne Mumford; brother, Brian Mumford, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janice; son, Scott Mumford of Dalton; grandchildren, Brittany Penick (fiancé Richard “Bud” Lewis), Courtney (Justin Conner) McWhorter, Christian Penick (Sandra Borelle), Nathan Mumford; great grandson, Sage; brother, Denis (Maureen) Mumford of Orono, Ontario, Canada; sister, Janet (Bob) Henderson of Ontario, Canada; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
