DOYLESTOWN – Donald B. “Buss” Lowry, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 26, 2020.
Born on October 15, 1925 in Carbondale, OH to the late Donley and Mary (Gabriel) Lowry, he was a resident of Doylestown for eight years and was previously of Barberton for twelve years, and Florida for 30 years. A veteran of WWII, Buss worked at Yoder Brothers for 30 years and then went on to work at Better Made Cabinets in Ft. Myers, FL. He attended River of Life Ministries in Barberton and loved to square dance with his beloved wife Donna.
Preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2017; step grandson, Brian Mace; sister, June Brooks; brother, Dewey Lowry, he is survived by his daughter, Connie (Jerry) Leway of Doylestown; son, Don B. (Carlotta) Lowry of New Marshfield, OH; grandchildren, Johnnie Leway, Jerilyn (Brock) Johnson; great grandchildren, Mattie and Emma Leway, Brody and Andi Johnson; sister, Eileen Kadilak of Barberton; other family and friends.
