DOYLESTOWN – Dylan E. Simons, age 25, passed away on February 1, 2025.

Born in Akron, OH on August 24, 1999, Dylan was a 2019 graduate of Chippewa High School and had attended the Wayne County Schools Career Center. Dylan enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. He was a Son of the American Legion and had previously worked there bussing tables during Sunday breakfast.

Dylan is survived by his parents, Brett and Ava (Lowe) Simons of Doylestown; sisters, Lyndsey Simons of PA and Samantha Simons of Canal Fulton; brothers, Alexander and Andrew Simons, both of Rittman; grandparents, Judy and Mark Holloway and Betty and Roger Houpt; nieces and nephews, Lilly Simons, Oliver Cantrell, and Ethan Herchek; many aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Chester Simons.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 7, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Pastor Carolyn Berry, officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to service time from 7-8 p.m. on Friday.
