DOYLESTOWN – Edward H. Davidson Jr., age 73, passed away on December 7, 2022.
Born on December 24, 1948 in Akron to the late Edward H. Sr. and Edith (Collier) Davidson, he was a life resident of Doylestown. After serving his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, Ed worked as a truck driver for many years with Consolidated Freight until its closing and was a member of Doylestown American Legion Post #407. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, attending all of their sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Cosbey and Susan Gattuso. Ed is survived by his children, April Heaps, Jason (Mahala) Davidson, and Amber Davidson all of Doylestown; grandchildren, Brady, Alexis, Baylee, Jada, Jenna, Teagan, Connor, and Carson; brother, Dale (Mary) Ford of Tucson, AZ; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Funeral service will be on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St. Doylestown, OH 44230 with Pastor Paul Lintern officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.
