DOYLESTOWN – Edward L. Dietry, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Born on October 26, 1943 in Doylestown, OH to the late Ernest A. and Margarite M. (Beidle) Dietry, he was a life resident of Doylestown and spent his winters with his daughter in South Carolina. Ed was a graduate of Chippewa High School and had attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School. A truck driver his entire life, and member of Teamsters Local #24, he retired from DDL Trucking, and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.

Preceded in death by his infant sister, Elizabeth; brothers, Paul, Raymond, and Eugene, he is survived by his daughter, Jeannie (Jim) Wilson of Pelzer, SC; son, William “Bill” (Linda) Dietry of Doylestown; grandchildren, Stephanie, Courtland, and Garrett Wilson, Christopher, and Nathan Dietry; sister, Rita (Richard) Martin of Orrville; nephew, Anthony (Jennifer) Martin of Dalton; great nephews, Trevor, and TJ; other family and friends.
