Edward S. "Steve" Hubiak Jr.

DOYLESTOWN - Edward Steven Hubiak Jr. “Steve” passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  After years of suffering, he is finally free of pain.

Born on May 15, 1959 to Edward and Lola Hubiak, he was a graduate of Chippewa High School and the Wayne County Career Center. Steve had several careers throughout his life, but the one he loved the most was being a truck driver for Rt. 80 Express – along with his 4-legged co-pilots (Archie and then Greta). He loved nature, animals and hummingbirds and could make almost any animal a pet.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Ed; grandparents, Iggy and Irene Hubiak, Bonnie Yehnert and Lawrence Huddleston; uncle, John Close; friend, Bum Genet. He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Lola; sister, Terri (John) Neely; nephew, John Neely; nieces, Jessica (Zachary) Erne and Jordan (Andrew) Erne; uncle and aunts, Elaine Close and Tim and Sandi Hubiak; many cousins, and his lifelong friends, Karl (Gena) Maier, Cheryl Lapidakis and Sharon Genet.  He also leaves behind his best friend and beloved dog Greta who never left his side.
