Elaine L. Trigg - Albaugh

DOYLESTOWN – Elaine L. Albaugh, age 90, passed away on October 4, 2025.

Born on July 17, 1935 in Keene, NH to the late Frank and Helen (Gorish) Krickler, she moved to Doylestown, OH in November of 2023 after having been a resident of Bellaire, OH most of her life.  A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she spent much of her time raising and being with her family.  She had worked at Kresge’s in her earlier years and did some catering in her later years.  She was a member of the South Bellaire Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald D. Trigg, second husband, Elwood W. Albaugh; brothers, Frank Krickler, Ron Krickler, and half-sister, Patricia Frick.  She is survived by her son, Donald (Ruthie) Trigg of Doylestown, OH; grandchildren, Del (Lisa) Trigg, Jayme (Benjamin) East, Amanda (Don) Crispens; great grandchildren, David, Charlotte “Charley” and Amelia; stepchildren, John (Gill) Albaugh, Dorinda Klein, David (Mandy) Albaugh; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 4 p.m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Rev. Don Trigg, officiating.  Calling hours will be from 2:30 p.m. until time of service on Friday.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens, 73360 Pleasant Grove Rd., Colerain, OH, 43916.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity or Hospice of the Western Reserve at https://www.hospicewr.org/give.  Online obituary and guest registry are available www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
