Elissa Janke Obituary

NORTON – Elissa H. Janke, age 64, passed away on April 9, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 12, 1955 in Garfield Heights, OH to the late Henry and Ruth (Mordarski) Janke, she was a resident of the Norton/Barberton area. Elissa had been an employed as a teacher with the Cleveland Municipal School District for ten years. Her main love in life was art and sketching.

She is survived by her husband, David Bishop; brother, Dennis Janke of Warren, ME; sisters, Patricia Petro (Tom Schmidt) of Findlay, OH, Marcella (Fred) Drotleff of Walton Hills, OH; nephews, Erik Drotleff, Adam Drotleff, Jon Petro; nieces, Veronica “Roni” Bojerski, Melissa Petro; great nephew, Oscar Skinner; great nieces, Molly Skinner and Gabriella (Gigi) Aberran.
