Ellen "Cathy" C. Sullivan

DOYLESTOWN – Ellen C. “Cathy” Sullivan, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022.

Born on January 28, 1945 in Barberton, OH to the late Joseph and Ellen (Leasure) Davis, she was a resident of Doylestown since 1961.  Cathy retired from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School as a teacher after 25 years of service.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and loved to read, paint, do a good puzzle or work on one her many handcrafted items. She enjoyed going to and watching her grandkids sports activities.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 53 years, Thomas; children, Patrick (Kari) Sullivan of Norton, Sherry (Greg) Zahradnick of Doylestown; grandchildren, Morgan and Braden Sullivan, Gregory and Zachary Zahradnick; brothers, Jim (Mary Ann) Davis of East Liverpool, Tom (Chris) Davis of Cherry Point, NC; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, Celebrant.  An inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.  Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School.  Online obituary and guest registry are available at www.zakmonbarrenfh.com
